Paradise Ice Rentals

Paradise Ice Rentals has a long history of providing quality product and excellent service. The new owners wanted to maintain the legacy, but update the business and marketing, and bring it to the younger generation. The previous owner had worked with  a marketing agency to create a functional website but not done much else. Thankfully TJ at zagrun was great to work with for transferring things over.

Paradise Ice has a fairly dated logo but it was already on their trailor and frozen drink machines. Since the new owner didn't have the budget to change all of the branded items to a new logo, we decided to really lean in to the kitsch of the old logo. We took the bold, bright colors and lines as inspiration for a fun and eye catching website and Facebook presence. 

 

We took the same fun, retro approach and applied it to business cards, yard signs and more, ensuring Paradise Ice will turn heads at every event.

Since Paradise Ice didn't have a social media following yet, we created their very own social media package working only in Facebook. New owners opted for a lower marketing package, but added on community page shares to reach a wider audience. We began by only posting 2-3 times per week, but sharing those posts to local foodie, sales and community Facebook pages, going from 10-15 views to thousands of views in a matter of minutes, without spending a cent on boosted posts or Facebook ads.

Another way we helped the new owners budget was through bartering. Paradise Ice signed on with KPC Unlimited just before a  KPC family wedding. Karen offered to waive Paradise Ice Rentals' onboarding costs and account creation in exchange for use of a frozen drink machine at the wedding. As a bonus, it gave us a great opportunity to get a few pictures to work with for creating the website and Facebook account.
